TLC wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday with their family no matter what you celebrate. We encourage you to spend some time outside either visiting one of our FOUR nature preserves (or a preserve near where you are living/visiting) or just birdwatching in your backyard. You may still be able to attend a Christmas Bird Count (CBC) in your area. No matter what you end up doing this holiday season, we hope that you take some time to turn off the electronics and enjoy the best TV show we have--the natural world!
Go to www.tlcforscc.org and click on the Preserves link to find out more information about our nature preserves. Remember that hunting season begins again on December 26 in Wildlife Management Unit 5C. We will NOT have any firearms on our properties until January 4th 2013 so you have plenty of time to enjoy nature!
Happy Holidays from the TLC Staff!!
