TLC's programming does not end when the weather gets cold, and even though today is a balmy day for December we will not always be so fortunate. Just ask those who braved our owl prowl last Wednesday! Our information table had frost on it by the time we got back!
It was a beautiful night, and we saw (and/or heard) THREE species of owls: Eastern Screech Owl, Barred Owl, and Great Horned Owl! This is typically unusual for an owl prowl, where you are lucky if you only hear two species of owls. The Barred Owl was a feather in the cap!
If you missed our owl prowls in 2012, our first 2013 owl prowl will take place on February 25. Check our website for information and we hope to see you there!
